Our Weekend

Last Friday evening, we decided to have a "cousins dinner" before my cousin headed back home to San Jose. The restaurant we had originally wanted to eat at had a 45 minute wait, so we decided to have dinner instead across the street. Dinner was delicious & fun, and even included stickers on the face.

On Saturday, we ventured out to The Children's Museum at La Habra for their free Target Saturday, which happens on the first Saturday of each month. After our experience at the Phoenix Children's Museum, we've been really itching to visit another one. We did some research before hand so that we made sure we visited the exhibits tailored for toddlers/pre-school children and good thing we did because it was PACKED. But hey, it was free.

Our Saturday wouldn't be complete without trying a new restaurant. This time we tried Pieology Pizzeria. It was so good, we're already planning on going back.

That evening, we went to church with our family and then had dinner with our extended family. What was supposed to be this long family meeting turned into a 5 minute discussion. And lots to eat. My family can be so silly at times.

We ended the weekend at Disneyland and California Adventure, of course. We watched the Pixar Play Parade, went on a new ride (Mike & Sulley To the Rescue,) roamed around Innoventions (where we unsuccessfully couldn't preview the Iron Man exhibit), and last but not least, rode Michael's favorite ride- Astro Orbiters.
